Wedding Terms & Conditions
1 BOOKING YOUR WEDDING.
1.1 Wedding Consultations are by appointment only and weddings can only be booked after a consultation with Flowers by Martine. Quotes provided following the consultation will be valid for 7 days , once this time elapses if a date has not been reserved and no form of contact has been made to obtain the date will open back up to other couples, any adjustments to price already given will incur a charge for additional re-planning of the price.
1.2 At Flowers by Martine we are limited to the amount of weddings that can be fulfilled. A non refundable booking fee and a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions will be required to reserve your date.

2 PAYMENT
2.1 Payment methods accepted are cash or bank transfer - THE DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOU SEPARATELY -

2.2 Once the wedding date has been reserved and your non refundable booking fee paid you will not be permitted to reduce the order by more than 10% of the total cost, should resources allow you can look to increase the order.
2.3 The balance will be due to be paid in full 30 days before your wedding date should you fail to pay this within the given time and dates noted in these terms and conditions then Flowers by Martine will reserve the right to cancel your order.
2.4 If you decide to cancel your wedding outside of the 30 day period you will not receive your non refundable booking fee. If you have paid your balance 15-30 days prior to your wedding you will receive 50% refund of your balance. If you cancel your wedding 14 days prior to your wedding date no refund will be issued.
2.5 No changes to your order can be made 14 days prior to the wedding date.
2.6 Beyond reasonable control of Flowers by Martine anything that affected the performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions and could not reasonably be foreseen or provided against- for clarity this includes any Pandemic or Epidemic- which would impact the ability for Flowers by Martine to complete obligations within these terms & Conditions and would be out of our control & closure of the services would be essential due to the safety of customer and our business. Balances, payments, and refunds would apply as (2.4-2.5)
3 FRESH FLOWER CONDITIONS
3.1 Sometime there are influences beyond our control dependant on weather conditions and seasonal availability, fresh flowers are a living product and with specific quality checks we may have no alternative but to substitute a certain flower, Should this occurrence happen we will inform you and reserve the right to source a suitable alternative flower. Everything in our power would be done to ensure that the substitute flower would be as close to the original choice as possible.
3.2 Occasionally the requested flowers colour will not be available to purchase due to events out of our control, in these rare circumstances we would reserve the right to choose an alternative colour as close to the original chosen colour as possible.
3.3 During high season March-October , December and Easter weekend Good Friday and Easter Monday a minimal spend of £4500.00
Minimal spend for package wedding £3500.00 flowers designed by Martine for the customer (Bride & Groom) keeping to a preferred
theme where possible, cost & availability will apply & be adjusted as ( see 3.1 )

4 DELIVERY OF WEDDING FLOWERS
4.1 A standard delivery charge of £65.00 is payable with your final payment and includes 1 delivery within a 7 mile radius of CT3 4HL, additional delivery locations are subject to charge.

5 HIRE OF GOODS
5.1 Goods available to hire with Flowers by Martine include: Vases, Candelabras |candleholders and stands. These are available to hire for 48 hours over your wedding. Within the hire time you the hirer has full responsibility for the items and are accountable for them being returned in the same condition as they were hired.
5.2 Hire charge security deposit of £200 to cover the cost in the unlikely event of any loss | damage or breakages. This payment is due with your final payment 30 days prior to your wedding date.
5.3 In the unfortunate event of any hire items to you are lost, damaged or broken the cost of replacing the item(s) will be deducted from the £200 security deposit, a list of items will be provided to you for the replacement. If all items are returned in their original condition the security deposit will be returned to you within 48 hours after the wedding date.
5.4 A collection service is available to collect all items hired from the venue the day after the wedding. A fixed charge of £55 if the venue is within the 6 mile radius of CT3 4HL.

5.5 Any photos of flowers taken prior to the wedding by Flowers by Martine, will only be used for promotional purpose within Flowers by Martine & will not be used in conjunction with any other intention other than promotion for wedding flowers, Any photos passed on from the bridal party that include Flowers by Martine would need to be acknowledged that they were constructed by the florist in name. Flowers by Martine will not promote photos that include any of the bridal party without the clients consent.
